Elberta Solstice Festival

Elberta Solstice Festival 2011- June 18th
Noon - 1:00am

Thank you ALL for your continued support to make the Elberta Summer Solstice Festival one of the most popular annual events in Benzie County!

Elberta Waterfront Park

We continue to build on the traditions that have made the Solstice Festival successful in the past: filling the longest day of the year with as much family fun and entertainment as possible. Starting at noon, there will be musicians and entertainers onstage throughout the day, as well open-mic poetry and music in the amphitheater. Check out the Events page and Schedule for the day.

As always, there will be plenty of activities for the kids to take part in, including face painting, games, and lots of prizes. Rockin R Stables will offer rides for the kids, and this will be our second year of adding an area for evening activities for teenagers, offering a bonfire and live music before the fireworks in the Teen Pavillion.

Acoustic Mead (Lake Ann), Northern Natural Winery (Benzonia), and St. Ambrose Meadery will be a few of the local highlights in the Beer Garden, along with local wines and our popular kids event: The Gross Eating Contest. There will be different Benzie County restaurants that will vend their dishes throughout the day, as well as non-profit organizations and local crafters and businesses with booths set up throughout the park.
